chili crunch tuna melt

Tuna Melt ft. SIJANG CHILI CRUNCH

 Who doesn't love a good tuna melt? What about a good tuna melt with fried shallots, cornichons, hot peppers and of course our chili crunch?!?! Please feast your eyes on this game changing tuna melt inspired by the God Eddie Huang.


INGREDIENTS:

- 2 cans of tuna
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 5-6 hot banana peppers 
- 5-6 cornichons
- 1 tbsp of mayo
- 2 shallots
-1 pad of butter
- 1 tbsp of spicy mustard
- white cheddar cheese
- SIJANG Chili Crunch
- Rye bread


DIRECTIONS:

  • Fry shallots until crispy and golden brown
  • Mix tuna, mayo, mustard, fried shallots, cornichons, SIJANG chili crunch, hot peppers, salt & pepper in a bowl
  • Place tuna mixture on one piece of bread
  • Place cheese on other piece of bread
  • Heat butter in pan on medium to low
  • Fry both sides until desired crispness
